Screening

  • Cell-free fetal DNA via blood test (NIPS/NITS) - quite accurate, not always covered by insurance.
  • Ultrasound (NT) + blood test (quad screen) - less accurate, cheaper
  • CVS/amnio - accurate, small increased risk of miscarriage (1 in 800)
